Overview

The Senior American Legion Liaison is responsible for coordinating and managing the logistics of veteran transportation and events. Oversees daily operations of the We-Ta-Se facility, including supervision of staff, managing department documentation, and maintaining all equipment.

Base pay

Base pay range: $18.68/hr - $30.52/hr

Department: We-Ta-Se

Supervisor: Assistant General Manager (Member Services)

Offering rate will vary within the listed range above. Supported by the Department budget & related experience/education

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage logistics of veteran transportation and events.
• Oversee daily operations of the We-Ta-Se facility.
• Supervise staff and manage department documentation.
• Maintain all equipment and facilities.

Minimum Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Driving Requirements: Valid Kansas driver\'s license free of occupational restrictions, must be insurable with the Nation\'s insurance carrier.
• Experience: One year of similar or related work experience, 1 year of supervisory experience. Ability to operate a wheelchair lift and secure locks and straps. Must be a Veteran.
• Education: HS Diploma/GED. Willing to obtain Driver Safety Course & First Aid Certification within 90 days.
