Position Summary & Responsibilities

Position Summary :

The HR Coordinator position (K0244849#) will be assisting HR daily to make sure our Office of Personnel Services runs smoothly. Serves as confidential staff in handling sensitive issues.To be successful in this role, you should have prior HR and data management / reporting experience.

Working with the HR Director and department prepare, run and provide any HR Reporting for data analysis purposes. This will include providing the monthly vacancy report, HR Metrics reporting (turnover, new hires, terms, vacancy and FTE counts) as well as any other reports needed for the Grant or any other consulting services upon request.

Additional duties of reporting, planning & preparing necessary performance guarantees for the Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG). DOA emails appointment letters, MyOps entry, unemployment insurance reporting, employee verifications, coordinates relocation assistance and tuition reimbursements programs, scheduling of meetings and any other support that the department needs.

Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following :

  • Maintains the HR Director Calendar and Schedule.Take minutes at meetings.
  • Make travel arrangements for department and maintain auto log schedule.
  • Train employees in MyOps reporting.
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure benefits align with employees’ needs.
  • Process unemployment claims.
  • Complete employment verifications.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School, GED
  • Licensing & Certification :
  • Minimum Qualifications : Three years’ experience in Human Resources and / or Data management / reporting experience and support work.
