This position is within the American Airlines Credit Union. It involves supporting deposit programs and membership strategic efforts. The role includes leveraging internal and external data, industry and market trends, and organizational projects to identify opportunities and make recommendations to drive deposit growth and meet membership objectives.
What you'll do
- Develop, evaluate, and coordinate efforts for scorecards of key deposit products and membership
- Communicate deposit product and service line P&L results as needed
- Perform performance analysis for Credit Union deposit products and services, share observations, and recommend actions to promote growth
- Design and maintain deposit programs and membership reports using various systems and industry data to analyze trends and performance
- Collaborate on or lead special projects to improve processes and performance
- Prepare and explain reports for senior management and leaders as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of all account information and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications - Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Multiple years of data analysis experience preferred
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Credit Union systems and SQL preferred
- Experience with financial products and services evaluation and design
- Ability to work independently, exercise creative problem-solving, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ability to collaborate across all management levels
- Self-motivation, organizational skills, attention to detail, and compliance with all policies and regulations
