The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking novice level Information Systems Security Professionals across the country to support information systems lifecycle activities.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.

  • Establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems.

  • Assist in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e. RMF, DAAPM, NIST), make recommendations on process tailoring, participate in and document process activities.

  • Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards.

  • Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority.

  • Complete all associated Assessment and Authorization activities, which includes all RMF Body Of Evidence (BOE) documentation.

  • Perform recurring cybersecurity SOW to include auditing, configuration management, user training, POA&M updates, ConMon checklists, Self-Inspections, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree with 0 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience; OR an Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of experience is required.

  • Current DoD 8570 IAM level I (or higher) security certification; OR must have the ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of start date.

  • Candidates must have a current DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum).

  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, a Security+ CE, and 3 years of experience with Certification & Accreditation of classified systems under RMF.

  • Knowledge of ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA&Ms, NIST, JSIG, system audits, vulnerability scanning, and/or RMF package development preferred.

  • Active Top Secret and/or SAP/SAR access would be ideal.
