Responsibilities

• Lead media strategy and execution for cybersecurity clients, maintaining relationships with key reporters
• Own tactical execution of cybersecurity-focused PR programs, including media relations and thought leadership
• Write and edit high-impact cybersecurity-focused content, ensuring technical accuracy and relevance
• Measure and report on the ROI of PR programs, using analytics to optimize strategies
• Mentor junior staff, helping them build their cybersecurity knowledge and media skills

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of PR/communications experience in an agency setting
• Direct experience working with cybersecurity clients or within the security industry
• Strong media relationships across tech, business, and security trades
• Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills
• Confidence using analytics tools and reporting on performance metrics

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to understand and translate complex cybersecurity topics into compelling media narratives
• A collaborative, curious, and client-first mindset
• Experience managing client communications, priorities, and deliverables
• Demonstrated independence in driving projects and initiatives forward with minimal oversight
• Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on feedback and adaptability
