Responsibilities

• Lead media strategy and execution for cybersecurity clients, fostering relationships with key reporters.
• Own the tactical execution of PR program elements, including media relations and thought leadership.
• Write and edit high-impact cybersecurity-focused content, ensuring technical accuracy and relevance.
• Measure and communicate the ROI of PR programs, using analytics to optimize initiatives.
• Mentor junior staff, helping them build their cybersecurity knowledge and media skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of PR/communications experience in an agency setting.
• Direct experience working with cybersecurity clients or within the security industry.
• Strong media relationships across tech, business, and security trades.
• Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills.
• Experience managing client communications, priorities, and deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Confidence using analytics tools and reporting on performance metrics.
• A collaborative, curious, and client-first mindset.
• Ability to understand and translate complex cybersecurity topics into compelling media narratives.
