Responsibilities
- Lead media strategy and execution for cybersecurity clients, building strong relationships with industry reporters
- Craft and deliver creative media pitches to generate high-quality coverage and thought leadership
- Manage client communications, providing strategic counsel and serving as a trusted point of contact
- Write and edit high-impact cybersecurity-focused content, ensuring technical accuracy and industry relevance
- Mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of PR/communications experience in an agency setting
- Direct experience working with cybersecurity clients or within the security industry
- Strong media relationships across tech, business, and security trades
- Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills
- Confidence using analytics tools and reporting on performance metrics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing client communications, priorities, and deliverables
- Ability to understand and translate complex cybersecurity topics into compelling media narratives
- A collaborative, curious, and client-first mindset
