Position Summary
The Department of Computer Sciences Cybersecurity Bachelor's Program at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions to deliver innovative and industry-relevant cybersecurity education.

Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate cybersecurity courses.
- Design and update curriculum to reflect the latest trends in cybersecurity.
- Engage students in hands-on learning experiences.
Additional duties include delivering courses in person or online, preparing course materials, grading, providing timely feedback, addressing student questions, maintaining office hours, and complying with university policies on instruction evaluation and peer observation. Candidates should be adaptable to various instructional modes and sensitive to the educational needs of a diverse student body.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, Cybersecurity, or related field, or a bachelor's degree with at least five years of industry experience in cybersecurity.
- Proven teaching ability, technical aptitude, creative problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills and knowledge of national cybersecurity educational frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry and higher education teaching experience.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications.
Terms of Employment
Part-time, at-will employment on a per credit hour basis, usually semester-by-semester. No benefits are provided. Teaching assignments depend on budget and enrollment. Candidates should be prepared to teach in person upon hire.
