Overview

Cybersecurity Systems Analyst, Sr. role at FEDITC, MacDill AFB. United States Citizenship and an active TS/SCI DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Performs assessment and authorization coordination. Advises and assists the customer with RMF and develops a Plan of Action and Milestones for resolving network deficiencies in accordance with DoDI 8510.01 and ICD 503.
  • Assesses network compliance against controls listed in NIST 800-53 and creates A&A packages. Executes comprehensive assessment, compliance and validation of customer networks to ensure compliance with regulations, standards and security policies.
  • Advices on network and system risks, risk mitigation options, and operational considerations. Performs security evaluations and vulnerability assessments using tools such as ACAS, Nessus, and other SCAP tools; identifies applicable STIGs and performs assessments.
  • Coordinate with network and system administrators to correct identified deficiencies; liaison with Site Integration Facility (SIF) to ensure systems and applications meet DISA STIG standards.
  • Review scans for new systems and applications introduced into the SOF environment, draft certification letters for the government, and ensure compliance with applicable security requirements.
  • Develop and implement information security controls, ISCM plans, and processes to support risk management decisions; track and report compliance with cybersecurity regulations to higher headquarters (e.g., USCYBERCOM, DIA).

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive, relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with US Combatant Commands (USCENTCOM/USSOCOM) is desired.
  • Technical background in system administration, architecture and engineering; networking, identity management, Microsoft and Linux operating systems, database, and mobility.
  • Working knowledge of RMF; knowledge of Telos Xacta or eMASS is desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with DoD IA processes and policies (e.g., DODI 8510.01, NIST, CNSS, CJCSM 65101.01, Incident Response) and related cybersecurity policies.

  • BA/BS Degree

Certifications

  • IAM Level III or IAT Level III

Clearance

  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a background check; maintain required security clearance as requested by client and/or prime contractor.
