Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and test network and cybersecurity controls for advanced grid control systems.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align technical solutions with project requirements.
  • Support commissioning activities and provide technical expertise on-site and remotely.
  • Develop and review technical documentation to ensure quality and clarity.
  • Integrate and verify control systems in both lab and field environments.
  • Participate in design reviews, factory acceptance tests, and project meetings.
  • Strengthen the security of DCS/SCADA/HMI network connections.
  • Provide hands-on support for IT infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, and servers.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with network or OT systems, virtualization, and cybersecurity standards.
  • Familiarity with VLANs, redundant protocols, VPNs, and network access controls.
  • Understanding of Windows OS and industry security frameworks (e.g., NERC CIP, IEC 62443).
  • Exposure to security tools such as NESSUS, Nmap, or similar.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
