This role is employed by Kelly Staffing Services Temp Agency at the Polaris Battle Ground location. This role is not eligible for full time Polaris benefits.

Position

Assembly Operator

Location: Battle Ground, WA

Schedule

  • 1st Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:30am-4pm
  • 2nd Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4pm-2:30am
  • Potential overtime

Summary

In the Assembly Operator position, you will perform a wide variety of tasks to prepare or build up vehicle parts, sub-systems, and components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install parts and components into a gauge or other Polaris product on an assembly line. Perform checks and inspections to ensure good quality.
  • Use and operate various hand tools and production equipment. Assembly Operators work in a repetitive, fast-paced environment and participate in teams to improve processes.
  • Train and become competent at assembly work stations as assigned by lead and supervisor.
  • Adheres to all Polaris safety policies and fosters a safe working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screens
  • Willing and able to work normal shift schedule and overtime including Friday and weekend shifts if needed.
  • High school graduate or GED

Physical Requirements

  • Willing and able to perform tasks which include lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, twisting, turning, kneeling, squatting, reaching overhead, performing strong pinch and grip, push-pulling up to 100 lbs, and standing/walking up to 10 hours per day.
  • Willing and able to sit or stand for majority of shift with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Performing repetitive tasks up to 100% of the time.

Note: Safety toed shoes are required in all warehouse and production areas. Operators must provide their own safety toed shoes at the start of contract and wear at work for the entire length of their contract.

Starting Rate: $18.92/hour. A shift differential of $1.09 is offered to employees working 2nd shift hours.

Base Pay Range:

$18.92 - $20.06
