We're currently seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Superintendent with a strong technical background to oversee and manage our construction and maintenance operations.

Position Summary

The Construction Site Superintendent will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing construction and maintenance projects from start to finish. This role requires hands-on experience in commercial construction or facilities maintenance, along with strong expertise in mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. The ideal candidate will be an organized, proactive leader capable of managing timelines, teams, and technical challenges with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management

  • Plan and manage construction and maintenance projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop detailed project timelines, budgets, and work schedules.
  • Ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
2. Technical Oversight

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and safety regulations.
3. Team Leadership

  • Manage and lead on-site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Foster communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Mentor and support team members to achieve project objectives.
4. Client & Stakeholder Relations

  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Provide regular updates and address client concerns promptly.
5. Budget & Procurement

  • Prepare and monitor project budgets and control costs.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage procurement of materials and equipment.
6. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in commercial construction or facilities maintenance.
  • Strong technical background in mechanics, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Proven experience successfully managing construction projects.
  • Exceptional leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong background in Commercial and Federal contracting.
  • Be able to travel at least 30% of the tme.
