Overview

Market Leader, Georgia. Will serve as the Market Leader in Georgia to participate in and support the development and implementation of strategic client engagement and growth plans for Georgia. This role will also provide leadership in new hire talent acquisition for Transportation design professionals in all levels of production and marketing / business development in Georgia.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in roadway/highway engineering.
• Georgia professional engineering (PE) registration.
• Strong collaboration with division leadership to deliver against business plans and strategies.
• Developing account management plans and building pursuit pipelines focused on identified key accounts.
• Serving as the Bid Manager, Project Manager or Project Principal in proposals when needed to increase win probabilities.
• Identifying and recruiting project managers and key staff for design projects.
• Available to utilize technical skills and resume to position for and win work with key clients.
• Drive key customer interactions and engagement and maintain assigned key client relationships at a senior level.
• Role model and champion the use of Mott MacDonald’s CAPTURE and WIN processes for new projects and pursuits.
• Ability to work with CRM for account and opportunity tracking, pipeline health, and resource planning.
• Support proposal and interview preparation to ensure strategic, customized proposal responses, including understanding of the scope, plan, approach, past performance, and personnel.
• Be accountable for proposal budgets.
• Experience managing and designing conventional and design-build projects relating to intersections, arterials, interstates, and interchanges for GDOT and municipal clients.
• Working knowledge of MicroStation, Geopak, and/or OpenRoads Designer.
• Experience working with large multi-discipline teams and will assist in growing Georgia Design team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and overall quality control and management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer of Record experience in a wide variety of GDOT design and design-build/Alternate delivery highway projects, including Limited Access Highways, Tolled Expressways, Urban Arterial Reconstruction and Widenings, and Milling & Resurfacings.
• Engineer of Record experience in Municipal design transportation projects, including Transit, local collector roadways, neighborhood streets, trails, and pedestrian mobility projects.
• Experience delivering GDOT District Wide and/or Continuing Services Contracts.
• Experience delivering Municipal GEC and/or task work order services Contracts.
• Well-established GDOT and Municipal contacts within the respective geography.
