The Role: Engineer Delivery

Presidio is seeking a Delivery Engineer to join our team to support our client base throughout the Georgia region and nationally. This individual will lead small to large projects on their own or as part of a team, including consulting, planning, designing, and implementing complex network and security engagements. The engineer will be responsible for projects, upgrades, documentation, and troubleshooting for all project and non-project-based work.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading complex, large-scale SD-WAN Security projects
• Creating detailed, implementation-level Designs that align with the business strategy, the customer's budget, and operational support capabilities.
• Performing Network and Security Assessments, including Architecture Configuration using OEM best practices
• Preparing and presenting documentation deliverables to customers, explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, and managing the customers' expectations
• Understanding how the technology aligns with the customer's business objectives.
• Managing client Relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction while balancing multiple client project opportunities.
• Collaborating with a multi-functional team including Sales, Pre-Sales, Project Management, and other delivery/engineering resources.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking by identifying issues and proposing innovative solutions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, assisting team members with deployments.
• Making data-driven decisions and anticipating challenges before they arise.

Required Skills and Professional Experience

• Expertise in complex multi-protocol routing and switching solutions (Cisco, Arista, Juniper)
• Extensive knowledge of:
• Palo Alto Networks Product Portfolio (Panorama, Prisma Access, Prisma Cloud)
• Cisco Security Product Portfolio (DNA / pxGrid, dACL, SGT, ISE, FirePower / FTD Firewalls, Meraki MX, FMC Management)
• Network security parameters and device hardening
• Core Routing and Switching platforms, design, configuration, troubleshooting (Cisco Best Practices)
• Network design, IP addressing, protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), protocol redistribution, loop prevention
• TCP/IP stack, OSI model, TCP/UDP ports and services
• Routing and switching troubleshooting at an expert level
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/military background
• 3-5 years of related project implementation experience

• Fortinet Product Portfolio (Fortigate FWs, FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer, FortiSase)
• Aruba Product Suite (Aruba CX, Aruba OS, VSX, VSF, high availability)
• Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure, GCP, Aviatrix)
• Automation/Scripting (Python, EMM, TCL)
• Active Cisco certification (CCNP, CCIE preferred)
• Active Palo Alto certification (PCNSA, PCCSE, PCNSE preferred)
• Arista Network Solution experience
