The Encompass Group is hiring: Director of Operations in Dallas

Our client, a growing construction firm based in Dallas, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations to oversee company operations and drive organizational growth. This role offers the opportunity to step into a senior leadership position and help shape the firm’s operational strategy while managing key projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operations across all company departments, including project management, estimating, and field operations.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, processes, and policies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Partner with senior leadership to support business growth initiatives, client satisfaction, and market expansion.
• Manage and mentor project managers, superintendents, and other operations staff to ensure consistent performance and professional development.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and project deliverables to ensure operational goals are met.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance, coordinate procurement, and oversee quality control to maintain the firm’s high standards.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in construction operations, project management, or a related field, ideally in commercial or large-scale projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
