Gastroenterologist Needed | Indianapolis | Locum Tenens ConnectHealth is seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Indianapolis. This assignment offers stability, strong support, and the opportunity to focus on high-quality patient care. Overview Start: December 21, 2025 Setting: Inpatient only Average census: approximately 10 patients per shift Rounding: Inpatient and consults Support staff: RN, MA, PA/NP, and office staff support provided EMR: Epic License: Indiana or IMLC accepted 12/22/25 – 1/1/2026 required and at least 1 week per month there after for 2026 Physician must have a clean NPDB and no outstanding medical malpractice Responsibilities Provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage and consults Perform bread-and-butter GI care (no EUS/ERCP required) Coordinate with anesthesia/MAC as needed (MAC available; conscious sedation optional) Typical shift hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm with pager call Qualifications Board-certified Gastroenterologist Indiana license or IMLC acceptable Clean NPDB with no ongoing malpractice issues Details Compensation: Competitive Schedule: Consistent, with long-term stability How to apply Interested Gastroenterologists should connect directly to learn more.
