Gastroenterologist – Locum Tenens

Indianapolis, Indiana

ConnectHealth is seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Indianapolis. This long-term assignment offers stability, strong support, and the opportunity to focus on high-quality patient care.

Assignment Details:

• Start: December 21, 2025
• Ongoing, long-term coverage
• Setting: Inpatient only
• Average Census: Approximately 10 patients per shift
• Rounding: Inpatient and consults
• Support Staff: RN, MA, PA/NP, and office staff support provided
• EMR: Epic
• License: Indiana or IMLC accepted
• 12/22/25 - 1/1/2026 required and atleast 1 week per month there after for 2026
• Physician MUST have a clean NPDB and no outstanding medical malpractice.

General GI Hospitalist Model (7 day coverage), Monday - Monday,

Bread and butter GI (no EUS/ERCP required)

Anesthesia/MAC available (no conscious sedation required, but available if physician is comfortable)

Likely shift hours are 8am - 4pm, then pager call
