Overview
The Office Assistant Per Diem will:
- Provide clerical, secretarial, and general office support for staff; types various correspondence and reports from rough draft and compiled data; researches and gathers materials; assembles reports; maintains and retrieves database information; completes forms and requisitions; maintains lists.
- Coordinate appointments; arranges meetings; assists with special events; provides information, including policies and procedures.
- Greet visitors; respond to inquiries; operate single or multi-line phones, transfer calls, and relay messages; sort and distribute mail; photocopy, collate, and distribute various materials; fax documents.
- Scan and link medical records to database.
- Prepare correspondence; answer telephone calls and provide routine information; process forms and requisitions; maintain database information; organize and file information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an office setting required.
- Computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Level of maturity to maintain confidentiality, comport self professionally, with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy. Excellent observation skills.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with a diverse patient population and all external contacts.
Salary Range: 17.30 - 23.36 USD
We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
