We are seeking a dependable Office Assistant / Medical Assistant to work directly with the physician and help ensure smooth daily operations of the clinic. This role combines patient-facing responsibilities, clinical support, and general office maintenance. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing clinical and administrative duties to keep the practice running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Patient & Clinical Support

• Greet patients, manage check-in/out, and assist with patient communications
• Take vitals, perform EKGs, collect specimens, vision/hearing screenings, and assist during exams and procedures (training provided as needed)
• Maintain clean and organized exam rooms and equipment, ensuring compliance with clinic standards

Office & Administrative Duties

• Work directly with the physician to support daily clinic needs
• Manage appointment scheduling, phone calls, and documentation
• Handle workers’ compensation forms and insurance verification
• Order supplies, track inventory, and ensure the office is well-stocked
• Assist with general office maintenance and organization
• Perform occasional administrative tasks such as mailing, filing, and errands

Qualifications

• Prior medical office or medical assisting experience preferred
• Comfortable performing both administrative and clinical duties
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
• Proficient with computers and electronic health records
• Professional, compassionate, and reliable

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Competitive hourly pay based on experience
• Training provided for specialized clinic procedures
