Exciting Opportunity: Administrative Office Assistant at Hotel Management & Consulting in our Overland Park, KS office!

About the Role: Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking an Administrative Office Assistant. As an Administrative Office Assistant with HMC, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the office runs smoothly at all times. Primarily supporting the Accounting Department, you will also support all other corporate office staff as needed.

Salary: Dependent on experience, $16.00 - $18.00

Primary Duties

  • Answer the phone, greeting callers, and directing calls as required
  • Assist accounting department with document retrieval, data input, and filing, as requested
  • Process and mail checks
  • Examine, sort, and route incoming and outgoing mail; receive and sign for mail/packages from couriers and deliver to proper recipient
  • Monitor and maintain office equipment; inventory supplies and order replacement supplies as needed
  • Support department managers, HR Department, staff, and CEO

Preferred Qualifications

  • Well-versed in all aspects of customer conversion and accounting
  • Well-developed skills in prioritizing, organization, and time management
  • Skilled at evaluating options and generating solutions
  • Self-starter, who applies individual initiative to get multiple tasks done
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Valid Driver’s License

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear.
  • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
