Responsibilities

  • Managing and organizing electronic and hard‑copy records.
  • Overseeing billing of the firm’s clients.
  • Assembling and distributing client reports.
  • Preparing and assembling client information presentation packages in a neat, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Utilizing word processing and Excel skills to prepare reports.
  • Verifying and reconciling numerical data (tie‑outs) to ensure totals match and data is accurate.
  • Providing administrative support as assigned to ensure efficient office operation.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a 2‑year degree is preferred, but relevant experience is considered transferable.
  • Proficient in grammar and possesses strong business writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with different objectives.
  • Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn specialty software.
  • Strong Word and Excel skills preferred.
  • Experience in a tax, audit, or accounting firm is a plus, but not required.
  • Bookkeeping experience is a strong plus, but not required.
