FLSA Status: Non-Exempt | Compensation Range $24.00-$26.00 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE: Driven by our values and an innate understanding of our culture, the Restaurant Manager’s primary responsibility is to assist and provide our guests with an exceptional and memorable dining experience that exceeds their expectations. This is achieved through the Restaurant Manager’s partnership and influence in daily practices aligned with our mission, successful shift management, and ongoing development of our teams. This role partners with the General Manager (GM), Assistant General Manager (AGM), and Executive Kitchen Manager (EKM) in planning, organizing, training, and developing each manager and team member, and in achieving objectives in finance, safety, quality and the restaurant culture. This position also partners with Kitchen Managers, Restaurant Managers, Catering Office, and Restaurant Support Center Teams.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains a team and guest focus on each shift; demonstrates respect and loyalty to the entire team every shift.
  • Partner and team player with Managers, Heart of the House and Front of the House Team Members to achieve common goals.
  • Coaches and leads teams through proper training systems, adherence to policies and company standards, and implementation of service standards through Points of Service.
  • Maintains mastery of the Circle of Service and Points of Service by delegating to team members and communicating with fellow managers.
  • Engages with guests to exceed expectations and builds relationships at the restaurant, catered events, and in the community.
  • Adheres to Health Department and sanitation standards; holds the entire restaurant team accountable.
  • Understands and coordinates catering services and systems for Stonefire catering events.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and county health, safety, and labor standards.
  • Oversees maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting restaurant environment.
  • Manages shifts with a focus on safety; ensures safety policies are followed and accountability is maintained for any breaches.
  • Partners to ensure food and product preparation and serving meet recipes, portioning, and serving standards.
  • Supports achievement of sales, food cost, labor cost, and operating expense objectives; collaborates with GM, AGM, and KM’s to adjust as needed.
  • Attends scheduled team meetings and assists in preparing schedules and leading Weekly Manager and KM Meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
  • Delivers high-level guest service to drive satisfaction and engagement.

LEADERSHIP & CULTURE

  • Leads through humble service and manages the restaurant team consisting of HOH and FOH Team Members, and Caterers.
  • Coaches and champions revenue strategies, guest satisfaction, and team member engagement.
  • Maintains a cultural pulse and partners with Operations; champions the Company’s Culture and Values.
  • Collaborates with People & Culture (HR) to attract, develop and retain the right people.
  • Coaches, trains, and mentors team members and uses training tools for business development and upselling.
  • Demonstrates integrity and commitment to the Company’s Mission, Vision, Values and Promise.
  • Operates effectively with minimal direction and strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.

ABOUT YOU

  • 1+ years in a high-volume role. Fast Casual Restaurant and catering experience preferred but not required.
  • Passionate, fun, positive and results-oriented.
  • Focused, attentive, and available to team members and guests if issues arise.
  • Open to coaching and development; values critical to the Company’s success.
  • Strong organizational leadership and exceptional communication skills.
