RESTAURANT MANAGER | JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to: General Manager | Location: Restaurant

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt | Compensation Range: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE: Driven by our values and culture, the Restaurant Manager’s primary responsibility is to provide our guests with an exceptional and memorable dining experience. This is achieved through effective shift management and the ongoing development of our teams, in collaboration with the GM, AGM, and EKM, to achieve objectives in finance, safety, quality, and the restaurant environment.

The role partners with Kitchen Managers, Restaurant Managers, Catering Office, and Restaurant Support Center Teams to oversee planning, organizing, training, and development of managers and team members.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead through service; empower the team; demonstrate integrity, values, and commitment in the workplace aligned with Company Mission, Vision, Values and Promise.
  • Maintain a guest- and team-focused environment on each shift and show respect and loyalty to the team.
  • Partner with other managers to coach and train the team, enforce policies and standards, and implement service standards.
  • Maintain mastery of the Circle of Service and delegate to team members while communicating with managers.
  • Engage with guests to exceed expectations and build relationships in the restaurant, at catered events, and in the community.
  • Ensure health department and sanitation standards are met; oversee catering services and systems for Stonefire catering events.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local health, safety, and labor requirements.
  • Keep the restaurant clean, comfortable, and inviting.
  • Manage safety on all shifts; enforce safety policies and address breaches.
  • Ensure food and products are prepared and served according to recipes, portioning, and serving standards.
  • Support achievement of sales, food cost, labor cost, and operating expense objectives; partner with GM/AGM/KMs to stay on track.
  • Attend scheduled team meetings; assist in preparing schedules and leading Weekly Manager and KM Meetings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
  • Execute high-level guest service to drive satisfaction and engagement.

Leadership & Culture

  • Lead with humble service and partner with GM/AGM to manage HOH, FOH, and catering teams.
  • Coach and champion revenue strategies, guest satisfaction, and team member engagement.
  • Maintain a cultural pulse, model Company Values, and partner with Operations; support People & Culture in attracting and developing talent.
  • Mentor team members; use training tools for business development, loyalty, and upselling.
  • Demonstrate integrity and commitment to the Company’s Mission, Vision, Values and Promise.
  • Operate independently with strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Requirements

About You

  • 1+ years in a high-volume role. Fast Casual Restaurant and catering experience preferred but not required.
  • Passionate, fun, positive and results-oriented.
  • Focused, attentive, and available to support team members and guests as issues arise.
