The Restaurant Manager at JUSTIN is an experienced leader of all service aspects focused on delivering service at or above a Forbes 5-star level, and supporting the Michelin star ratings. The Restaurant Manager manages the team effectively and efficiently balancing operational costs and high levels of service and growth. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for driving profit and loss, relevant KPI’s related to revenue as well as customer experience. The Restaurant Manager will partner closely with the Chef team to create a seamless flow of the expression of the kitchen onto the dining room. The Restaurant Manager must have a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, sales mentality and luxury customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently with minimal supervision.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment under pressure, stress, or strict time constraints.
• Effectively work well with a diverse group of people with different personalities.
• Influence others via coaching and development.
• Require onsite collaboration with others and in-person interaction with different groups of people.
• Maintain Forbes 5-Star service standards and ensure a memorable guest experience for all.
• Present for all stages of service (pre, post, food and wine service).
• Build, organize and report on an award-winning wine program.
• Manage all customer touchpoints, collateral, assets, inventories of service items (beverage, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, teas, coffees) and table/service equipment.
• Monitor and respond to reviews, ratings and guest interactions or issues.
• Help manage the F&B POS, source new IT solutions, or select platforms to drive sales and efficiency.
• Send nightly, weekly, monthly reports as required (e.g., covers, KPIs, P&L performance).
• Conduct meetings and training to maintain or increase service standards and knowledge.
• Work directly with culinary team to pair wines with menu items.
• Maintain Beverage Menu (creating mocktails and wine-based beverages to increase sales).
• Manage the Wine List to maximize wine sales for JUSTIN and non-JUSTIN offerings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing in Michelin and/or Forbes 5-star fine dining restaurant.
• 1+ year wine sales experience.
• Serve Safe Card.
• Sommelier Level 1 (or higher) or willingness to become certified within first 6 months of employment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with composure, emotional intelligence, and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Solution-oriented, highly motivated.

Pay Range: $78,000 - $95,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
