Job Summary

As a Manager, you will oversee the dining room operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain high service standards. You will lead and train the crew, manage reservations, coordinate seating, and oversee service flow. Responsibilities include handling guest inquiries, resolving issues, collaborating with kitchen staff, monitoring inventory, and managing costs. The ideal candidate is dynamic, professional, with strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences.

Essential Job Functions

• Oversee daily operations, including food procurement, guest relations, and service standards.
• Manage cash handling, safe management, change orders, bar banks, and tip reconciliation.
• Participate in inventory counts and manage food and beverage costs.
• Edit timekeeping records and forecast product needs based on inventory data.
• Process invoices and communicate with vendors regarding credits and shortages.
• Prepare work schedules, troubleshoot inventory variances, and submit schedules for approval.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure food and beverage meet recipe specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, monitor food temperatures, sanitation, and conduct line checks.
• Inspect dishes for quality and presentation before serving.

Daily Operations

• Manage the restaurant during business hours, engaging in all areas.
• Recognize and coach staff, handle guest checks, and coordinate with other managers.
• Interact with guests, lead pre-shift meetings, and manage staffing and training.

Management

• Conduct interviews, set goals, participate in team meetings, and training sessions.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• 2 years of management experience.
• Demonstrated employment stability.
• College degree in a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to meet physical demands, including standing, lifting up to 40 lbs., reaching, and moving through tight spaces.
