Schedule / Expected Work Hours:
- Varying schedule including weekends and most holidays; pay based on schedule availability and flexibility.
Job Summary:
As a Manager, you will oversee the dining room operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, lead and train staff, manage reservations, oversee service flow, handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver timely food and beverages. You will also monitor inventory levels and manage costs. The ideal candidate is dynamic, professional, with strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee daily operations including food prep, guest relations, and service standards.
- Ensure accurate cash handling, safe management, and tip reconciliation.
- Participate in weekly inventory counts and manage food and beverage costs.
- Edit timekeeping records as needed.
- Forecast product needs using inventory data.
- Process invoices and communicate with vendors.
- Prepare work schedules for team members and manage staffing levels.
- Address inventory variances and create corrective actions.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure food and beverage meet company standards.
- Maintain health and safety compliance.
- Inspect and approve dishes for quality and presentation.
Daily Operations:
- Manage restaurant during business hours, engaging in all areas.
- Recognize and coach staff.
- Handle guest checks and coordinate with other managers.
- Interact with guests to build relationships.
- Lead pre-shift meetings and manage labor staffing.
- Evaluate staff performance and conduct training and disciplinary actions.
Management Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews and set team goals.
- Participate in management meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- At least 21 years old.
- Minimum 2 years management experience.
- Proven employment stability.
- College degree in business or hospitality preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to reach up to 6 feet and work in various physical positions.
