Overview
Dock/Conveyance Coordinator role in the Operations department. Reports to the Operations Manager - Events. Supervises: N/A. FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt.

Compensation: Compensation is dependent on experience and ranges from $26.50 - $28.50 hourly.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and schedule docks and conveyances; oversee lifts/carts and dock control.
- Assist with security controls for dock entrances and monitor/document deliveries and pickups.
- Oversee and maintain dock conditions (lighting, heating, loading doors, storage) and report issues.
- Perform pre- and post-event dock area walks to track/report building damage, leftover materials and/or equipment.
- Oversee the dock pass program and systems to enforce dock parking, assignments, and issue tickets.
- Review event documents for dock usage and assignments with dock pass system.
- Coordinate with General Service Contractors, AV companies, and rental companies on lift/cart deliveries, timing of drop-off/pick-up, and storage onsite.
- Enforce cart and lift usage and storage policies.
- Assist with creation of building policies, drawings, and plans.
- Coordinate dock access and vehicle parking with the Operations team during building activities.
- Monitor arriving shipments with GSCs and contractors; collect/record documentation to confirm contents.
- Assist with signage printing, placement and installation.
- Oversee dock master and check booths for damage before and after use.
- Ensure conveyance signage is current and appropriate for public viewing.
- Perform pre-event functionality tests and schedule preventative maintenance/inspections/certifications; maintain records for all conveyances.
- Inspect escalators and elevators during daily use and report issues to conveyance vendor as needed.
- Assist with coordinating service and freight elevator usage for internal and event use.
- Assist with HET processes and/or operate elevator/escalators during events to minimize improper use or damage when needed.
- Work with GSCs and vendors to ensure safety policies and guidelines are followed; conduct orientations at the start of work.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with shipping/receiving and dock control in an event environment preferred
- Previous experience in document control, administrative support or related role

- None required, forklift certification preferred
