**Job Title:** Dock/Conveyance Coordinator**Department:** Operations**Reports To:** Operations Manager - Events**Supervises:** N/A**FLSA Status:** Hourly, Non-Exempt**Why the Colorado Convention Center is a great place to work:*** $500 Signing Bonus after 30 days of service and an additional $500 bonus upon 90 days of service!* Generous Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay* Health, dental, vision insurance, eligible upon hire* 401(k) investment plan, with a discretionary employer match of up to 3%* Healthcare reimbursement and flexible spending plans* Employer-paid and supplemental life insurance* Short- and long-term disability insurance available* RTD Eco Pass: As a Full-time employee the Colorado Convention Center currently offers an RTD Eco Pass.* Tuition reimbursement program* Employee assistance program**Compensation:** Compensation is dependent on experience and ranges from $26.50 - $28.50 hourly.**General Summary:**Monitoring and scheduling of docks, conveyances, lift/cart oversight, and dock control oversight.**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:*** Assist with any security controls for entrances to docks and monitor/document deliveries and pickups.* Oversee and maintain overall conditions of docks including lighting, heating, loading doors and storage and report all issues through work reports.* Perform pre and post event walks of dock areas to track/report building damage, left over materials and/or equipment.* Oversee the dock pass program and systems to enforce dock parking, assignments and write tickets.* Review event documents for all dock usage and assignments with dock pass system.* Coordinate with General Service Contractors, AV companies and rental companies on lift/carts deliveries, timing of drop off / pick up and storage onsite.* Enforce cart and lift usage and storage policies.* Assist with creation of building policies, drawings and plans.* Work with the Operations team to coordinate dock access and parking of vehicles around building activities.* In conjunction with GSC’s and contractors, monitor arriving shipments and collect/record documentation to confirm contents.* Assist with signage printing, placement and installation.* Oversee dock master and check booths for damage before and after use.* Make sure conveyance signage is current and looks appropriate for the public.* Perform pre-event functionality tests and schedule preventative maintenance/inspections/certifications and maintain records for all conveyances within the facility.* Inspect escalators and elevators during daily usage for any issues or concerns to report to conveyance vendor for facility.* Assist with coordinating service and freight elevator usage for internal and event use.* Assist with HET processes and/or operate elevator or escalators during events to minimize improper use or damage when needed.* Work with GSC’s and vendors to ensure all facility/company policy, safety procedures and guidelines are followed by performing orientations at the start of work.* Other duties as assigned**Qualifications:**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
