Position Overview

Our Lead Dock Helpers support the recycling department and ADC/store operations by maintaining the warehouse and material handling. The position is responsible for communication and organization of incoming/outgoing product and material to possibly affect flow at the operation center. Dock Helpers will be responsible for the following duties:

  1. Overseeing day-to-day job tasks of Dock Helper
  2. Communication with logistics vendors and stores/ADCs regarding product transfer
  3. Reading and interpreting manifest documents
  4. Staging items for efficient workflow to assist in timely delivery of product to Goodwill locations
  5. Downloading trailers
  6. Moving pallets within the facility and into and out of trucks by forklift
  7. Physically moving bins and buggies into and off of trucks or trailers
  8. Transferring trash items to the compactor
  9. Frequently walking, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Warehouse/material handling experience preferred. Forklift experience/certification preferred.

PAY

$15.05/hour
