This position is based out of Crown’s Hicksville, NY, branch and will cover the surrounding areas, including Fairfield and Putnam Counties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maximizing the sale of dock and door equipment and parts & service for dock & door within a specified territory to meet sales objectives.
• Develop existing accounts & seek new business. Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, & develop strong business relationships. Consult & problem solve to enhance the Company’s position in existing & target accounts.
• Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers.
• Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information. Discuss sales activities with the Sales Manager.
• Participate in ongoing training programs and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills. This may include traveling to the Northern Kentucky branch.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or a related business program is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Intermediate computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos.

Compensation and Benefits:

Crown offers an excellent wage and benefits package for full-time employees. Current benefits being offered include:

• Competitive Wages. The anticipated starting pay range for the position is $55,000- 60,000; however, skills and related experience will be considered.
