TraxNYC Corp is hiring: Jewelry Production Assistant in New York

Overview

TraxNYC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team in Manhattan’s Diamond District. This is a hands-on, in-person role that supports the production of high-end, custom-made pieces for clients worldwide — including celebrities, athletes, and collectors. Strong organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with picking up and dropping off jewelry, molds, castings, and stones within the Diamond District
• Coordinate with jewelers, setters, polishers, casters, and engravers
• Track timelines and maintain organized records of orders, jobs, and inventory
• Prepare simple paperwork for casting, setting, and quality control
• Conduct basic quality checks (e.g., ensuring stones are secure and polish is clean)
• Help manage repairs and returns, ensuring they are logged and tracked
• Assist with photography, packaging, and maintaining the production area
• Support sourcing of stones and materials as directed
• Provide general support to the production team as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Interest in jewelry, design, or production (experience in the industry is helpful but not required)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
• Comfortable working with high-value merchandise
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask under pressure
• Punctual and dependable with a professional attitude
• Knowledge of the Diamond District is a plus, but not required
• Experience using Monday.com is preferred, but not required
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and valid photo ID required

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Subject to increase over time based on performance
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday
• Standard shift: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (8 hours)
• Occasional weekend availability may be required
• Location: In-person, New York, NY 10036 (Diamond District)
