Job Title: Screen Printing Production Assistant
Employment Type: Part-Time (up to 20 hours per week, with opportunity for full-time)
Starting Pay: $18 - $22 per hour
About Us: Music City Creative is an eco-friendly custom screen printing company specializing in high-quality apparel and merchandise for businesses. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Production Assistant to support our team.
Ideal Schedule:
- Mondays: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- One additional 4-hour shift on Tuesday or Thursday as needed
- Please note: hours may be limited from mid-December through mid-January
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with setup, cleanup, and maintenance of screen printing equipment
- Prepare garments and materials for printing (sorting, folding, tagging)
- Support production staff during printing, including handling inks and screens
- Inspect printed products for quality and consistency
- Package finished products for shipping or pickup
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Help with other production-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a screen printing or print shop environment preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and follow production processes
