Position Purpose:
The Recruiting Coordinator will oversee all recruiting, screening, and hiring procedures for the Communication Services department. The Recruiting Coordinator will put together and lead various recruiting events, interest meetings, and final interviews for the Phone Minister position. This position will also work closely with the Staff Support Manager and the Phone Operations team to direct and train the Recruiting Assistant.
Essential Duties:
- Collaborate with the Staff Support Manager and the Phone Operations team to accomplish all recruiting and hiring goals for Communication Services
- Oversee and direct all recruiting, screening, and hiring procedures for the Phone Minister position
- Trainthe Recruiting Assistant on working through and maintaining the Paycom Pipeline for the Phone Minister position
- Provide continued training and coaching for the Recruiting Assistant as necessary
- Listen to phone interview audiosand oversee decisions to invite candidates to final interviews
- Schedule all interviews in the hiring process
- Equip the Staff Support Manager and the Phone Operations team with as much relevant information as possible to make a good hiring decision
- Utilize Monday.com to maximize our recruiting, interviewing, and hiring process
- Invite Phone Operations leadership to help withgroup interviews
- Lead all group interviews (onsite and via Zoom)
- Lead the end-of-group interview discussions
- Maintain the Recruiting and Hiring Dashboard, along with any other necessary recruiting and hiring stats
- Conduct reference checks on all final Phone Minister position candidates
- Work with HR and the Training Team to set job offer letter deadlines, and to schedule New Hire start dates, orientations, and training classes
- Work withthe Data and Systems team to find and offer specific shifts to New Hires
- Review and approve Offer Letters
- Plan and organize recruiting events
- Identify and develop new recruiting strategies and process improvements
- Stay up to date on HR ministry policy and responsibilities as assigned
- Prepare for and attend all regularly scheduled team meetings and other meetings upon request
- Complete all other tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong listening, teaching, and coaching skills
- High level of organizational and time management abilities, with an acute attention to detail
- Excellent Windows-based computer navigation skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have a high degree of judgment and diplomacy, and have an impeccable commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to receive corrective feedback from supervisors
- Understanding of general HR hiring policies and practices
Requirements:
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must sign the Statement of Faith
- A high school diploma or equivalent education is required
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Communication Services Phone Minister experience and a working knowledge of all skillsetsis required
- Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred
- Must pass all required checks
Experience:
- Prior recruiting and HR experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is required
- Administrative experience is required
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.
