PRINCIPLERESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE
The Recruiter will be responsible for managingthe recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing and hiringcandidates. They will collaborate with Human Resources and the hiring managersto understand staffing needs and coordinate recruitment efforts.
MAIN DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
- Create asuccessful recruitment strategy.
- Understandthe hiring requirements of each role by property.
- Post jobsexternally and internally and keep postings up to date.
- Attract candidates through various channels including professionalnetworks, social media and recruitment platforms.
- Reviewapplications and resumes to screen candidates.
- Dispositionapplicants in the HRIS / Recruitment system in a timely manner and communicatewith them on their status.
- Effectivelycommunicate your knowledge or Community, Company, Property, and Role withapplicants.
- Coordinatewith hiring manager regarding scheduling interviews with candidates, hiringmanagers and the event space team.
- Coordinatewith hiring manager regarding conducting interviews with hourly employees
- Be theliaison between the hiring manager, candidate and human resource team.
- Assistwith background checks and reference checks.
- Assist HRwith market research on wages and benefits packages.
- Reportand track job and applicant information.
- Trackpotential returning employees.
- Stayupdated about hiring trends and best practices
- Attendjob fairs and hiring events.
- Attendappropriate meeting
- Assist Director of HR with administrative tasks as needed.
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition skills
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience in conducting interviews and candidate assessments
- Effective administration and people management skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communicationskills
- Ability to coordinate and cooperate with other departments
- Strong ability in using HRIS and Recruitment systems and MS Office(MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience in the hospitality industry a plus.
Inaddition to performance of the essential functions, this position may berequired to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, withthe percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the HumanResource Manager based upon the particular requirements of the company.
- Participatein industry organizations.
- Maintainan open line of communication between guests, employees, and management.
- Assist in any other duties as needed. This position may be required to perform other and additional duties assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
EDUCATION
- HighSchool graduate or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree or certification preferredwith emphasis in Communications, Psychology, Business Administration, or HumanResources.
- 1-2 years Recruiting Experience
SCHEDULE / HOLIDAYS/PTO
The Recruiter is expected to keepa 40 hour weekly schedule, adjusted as needed according to businessdemands, and be available in the event of an emergency.
