We are seeking a dynamic and talented Overnight Laundry Attendant to join our team and contribute to our continued growth.

Principle Responsibilities and Position Purpose

• Ensure all hotel linens are cleaned to departmental standards following procedures from 11:00 pm–7:00 am, including bed linens, towels, and robes. Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Cleans and folds linens; operates industrial washers and dryers (loading and unloading).
• Performs cleaning duties for laundry equipment and area.
• Reports maintenance issues to Front Office to generate a work order.
• Follows departmental policies and safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum guest service.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate laundry equipment including industrial washers, dryers, and press.
• Adhere to Averill Hospitality policies and ensure departmental compliance.
• Maintain positive relations with the community and area vendors.
• Demonstrate teamwork, contribute to a positive team environment, and prioritize the team’s success.
• Meet productivity standards, work promptly, and strive for increased efficiency.
• Respond promptly to guests’ needs and take ownership of the guest experience.
• Maintain professionalism under pressure and treat others with respect.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
• Frequency: Rare to Constant for various activities; see below for specifics.

Education

• High School or High School equivalent is an asset.

Experience / Licenses or Certificates

• Prior experience in related field is an asset.

Notice

• The hospitality business operates seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. This seasonal position ends on September 3, 2025. A hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
