Divergent is a technology company that has architected, invented, built, and commercialized an end-to-end factory system called the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS) that comprehensively uses machine learning to optimally engineer, additively manufacture, and flexibly assemble complex integrated vehicle structures and subsystems. Divergent is expanding to support mission critical needs in the Aerospace and Defense sector. This is a temporary role that could become full time. Estimated length of assignment: 3+ months.

Purpose

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Recruiting Coordinator to join our growing Talent team. The Recruiting Coordinator will be a central point of contact for candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the recruitment process. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about enabling teams to hire the best talent.

The Role

  • Candidate Experience: Manage scheduling of interviews, candidate communication, and travel arrangements while ensuring a world-class candidate journey.
  • Hiring Team Support: Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to coordinate interview logistics, panel alignment, and feedback collection.
  • Process Management: Maintain accurate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), monitor pipelines, and prepare candidate status reports.
  • Employer Branding: Assist in creating and posting job descriptions, career site updates, and support recruiting events or initiatives that showcase Divergent’s culture.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities to improve scheduling workflows, communication touchpoints, and recruiting operations.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive candidate and company information with discretion and professionalism.

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years in recruiting coordination, HR, or administrative support (tech or manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on candidate care
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, or similar) and scheduling tools (e.g., Outlook, Google Workspace)
  • A team-first mindset, flexibility, and eagerness to contribute to a mission-driven organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS
  • Experience in fast-paced start-up environments
  • Experience supporting university recruiting or internship programs
