Position Details
- Location: Conway, SC (approximately 10 miles from Myrtle Beach; 325,000 population)
- Status: Full-time, permanent position
- Visa: H1B candidates welcome to apply
- Practice: Primarily outpatient clinical role with inpatient responsibilities
- Schedule: Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Friday 8am-12pm)
- Administrative time: Protected time; 5 clinic days per week with 0.5-day admin time per week
- Patient load: 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours
- Call: 10 days per month, supported by telemedicine and a tele-stroke program
- EMR: Cerner (Dragon Dictation available)
- Average patient volume: 18-22 patients per day
- Demographics: Adults with a wide range of neurological conditions
Scope of Work
- Visit types: General neurology consultations, follow-ups, and diagnostic testing
- Typical procedures: EMG, EEG, nerve conduction studies, Botox injections
- Support services: Telemedicine for consults, EMG technician onsite, tele-stroke program
Compensation & Benefits
- Sign-on bonus: $30k+ to assist with the transition
- Base compensation: Guaranteed base salary (MGMA median) plus WRVU bonuses
