Red Oak Technology is seeking a Manufacturing Technician opportunity for our client located in San Francisco, CA

Position: Manufacturing Technician

Location: San Francisco, CA (onsite)

Shift Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Construct, test and calibrate engineering and production robotic and computer controlled assembly systems using engineering prints, schematics, assembly instructions and engineering direction.
• Follow all Safety and Laser Safety procedures and requirements.
• Utilize high-precision measuring equipment, calibration, and detailed record generation to support manufacturing and quality processes.

Qualifications

• Must have soldering experience, particularly with small components.
• Experience and proficiency with mechanical hand and power tools; oscilloscope, DMM, signal generators, optics, cameras.
• Familiarity with laser safety, lasers, laser pattern recognition, beam focus, and active alignment.
• Experience with auto dispense and cure of UV adhesive.
• Experience with multiple axis, vision-assisted, computer-controlled robotic assembly equipment in both R&D and volume manufacturing environments.
• Ability to identify root causes of manufacturing, quality and yield issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, standard SPC and flowcharts.
• Experience with pneumatic actuated slides, grippers, etc.; Hex Pod tables; active alignment.
• Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills in English.
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience. Lidar sensor experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 35 lbs.
