Overview
Red Oak Technology is seeking a Manufacturing Technician opportunity for our client located in San Francisco, CA
Position: Manufacturing Technician
Location: San Francisco, CA (onsite)
Shift Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Responsibilities
Construct, test and calibrate engineering and production robotic and computer controlled assembly systems using engineering prints, schematics, assembly instructions and engineering direction.
Follow all Safety and Laser Safety procedures and requirements.
Utilize high-precision measuring equipment, calibration, and detailed record generation to support manufacturing and quality processes.
Qualifications
Must have soldering experience, particularly with small components.
Experience and proficiency with mechanical hand and power tools; oscilloscope, DMM, signal generators, optics, cameras.
Familiarity with laser safety, lasers, laser pattern recognition, beam focus, and active alignment.
Experience with auto dispense and cure of UV adhesive.
Experience with multiple axis, vision-assisted, computer-controlled robotic assembly equipment in both R&D and volume manufacturing environments.
Ability to identify root causes of manufacturing, quality and yield issues.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, standard SPC and flowcharts.
Experience with pneumatic actuated slides, grippers, etc.; Hex Pod tables; active alignment.
Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills in English.
Minimum of 5 years industry experience. Lidar sensor experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 35 lbs.
