Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, train, and mentor a multi-shift maintenance team, promoting safety, accountability, and collaboration.
- Set performance expectations, provide coaching, and support employee development.
- Direct daily maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and repairs for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Manage preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Utilize CMMS for scheduling, spare parts, reporting, and data-driven decisions.
- Oversee contractors and vendors while ensuring safety and quality compliance.
- Support facility systems such as boilers, compressed air, water treatment, and HVAC.
- Drive equipment and process improvements to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Support capital projects, cost reduction initiatives, and new equipment installations.
- Apply data analysis and performance metrics to identify and implement corrective actions.
- Champion safety policies and OSHA compliance, including LOTO and PPE requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and lead by example in safe work practices.
- Monitor expenses, control the maintenance budget, and provide regular updates to plant leadership.
- Deliver accurate forecasts, cost estimates, and project timelines to support decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related).
- 3-5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing.
- 3-5 years of proven leadership experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with CMMS and maintenance best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliability-centered maintenance experience preferred.
