Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for Associate Manufacturing Analyst/Manufacturing Analyst. The selected candidate will join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Manufacturing Process Engineering and Standard Tooling teams across multiple programs. The position will be located in Melbourne, FL. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing Engineering organization working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment.
This position requires onsite presence due to the nature of the role.
We seek Manufacturing Analysts that use a unique skill set and hands-on approach to performing activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including planning, continuous improvement, material management, process optimization, and liaison. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
What you'll get to do:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. You will perform activities within the operations organization while interfacing with a variety of cross-functional areas, including program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality, facilities engineering, and procurement.
Your duties may include:
Producing plans that conform to 5S goals and sector initiatives and 5S focal to the manufacturing floor.
Submission and follow-up on rapid request orders (RRO’s) for industrial supplies.
Generate reports to identify aging tool replacements needed.
Lead aging tool removal processes, monitor aging checkouts of tools by mechanics, and send out appropriate notifications.
Coordinate new tool deliveries including new consumable delivery system for new areas.
Communicate with production teams regarding newly designated areas for assets.
Responsible for tracking tools and supplies needed by operations and ensuring they are received in a timely manner.
Facilitating teams consisting of multiple departments to ensure timely completion of corrective actions, return to greens, CPATS, and LDD’s.
Position will also be the FOE/FOD focal at the cost center level, ensuring FOE/FOD best practices are implemented.
Facilitate the onboarding of new hires to ensure training requirements, company access, and IT requirements are acquired before reaching the shop floor.
The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams and interact with internal and external customers with respect to problem resolution and process improvement. The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable communicating with multiple levels of leadership. They will work in a team environment, be comfortable with presenting data, perform complex professional tasks, have excellent problem-solving abilities, and be comfortable working with minimal supervision and guidance. The selected candidate must understand the importance of using discretion, latitude, and must have high integrity.
This position may be filled at an Associate Manufacturing Analyst or Manufacturing Analyst based on the qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualifications Associate Manufacturing Analyst:
Bachelor’s degree and 0 years experience.
Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
Experience in data analysis, production, manufacturing engineering, and/or quality control.
The ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance.
Basic Qualifications Manufacturing Analyst:
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
Experience in data analysis, production, manufacturing engineering, and/or quality control.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret DoD Clearance.
Experience in Standard Tooling Services and/or tool accountability control.
Ability to navigate MES or similar platform.
Lead production experience.
SAP knowledge or experience.
Ability to work within MS applications, i.e., MS Word, Excel.

Salary Range: $52,800 - $79,200
Salary Range 2: $63,500 - $95,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers.
