This is a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, and candidates are expected to have some knowledge of fill-finish production processes. Experience in food line manufacturing and chemical operations is also considered beneficial for this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Under the Manufacturing Lead and/or Supervisor's direction, support manufacturing operations to meet strategic department objectives, including:
- Prepare cleaning and sanitizing solutions and perform regular cleaning of controlled manufacturing areas.
- Replenish manufacturing components, materials, and supplies.
- Transport bright stock and finished products as scheduled.
- Perform equipment cleaning, sterilization, and setup.
- Operate sterilizer, transfer isolator, processing, and packaging equipment.
- Weigh APIs and excipients, and compound bulk drug products following SOPs and batch records.
- Adhere to Civica procedures, current good manufacturing practices, and safety regulations.
- Participate in daily shift meetings and communicate issues effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or bachelor’s in a Life Science preferred.
- 2-3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
- Strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures accurately.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Employees must meet physical requirements, including occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds, standing, walking, sitting, and reaching. Reasonable accommodations are available. The noise level is usually low to moderate.
