Responsibilities

• Develop and lead manufacturing processes to ensure cost-effective production, including methods, standards, and process flow within welding and final assembly departments
• Maintain documentation such as PFMEAs, change-over procedures, APQP, and PPAP
• Coordinate the launch of new programs, equipment installations, and retrofits
• Measure variance against efficiency standards, investigate out-of-control metrics, and recommend corrective actions
• Create process flow diagrams and workplace layouts to improve efficiency and reduce handling
• Participate in product and process introductions utilizing knowledge of APQP

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Welding, or a related Engineering field
• Previous experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer in an automotive manufacturing setting
• Experience with welding, metal fabrication, assembly, or related processes is a plus
• Ability to travel within Ohio to multiple plant locations as needed
