  • Onsite in Antioch, CA
  • Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm M-F with overtime and weekend work as needed

Required qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years direct experience in industrial manufacturing, integration, or other relevant field
  • Strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities
  • Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written work instructions
  • Hand dexterity to assemble small mechanical components
  • Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Perform repetitive work including lifting of heavy items up to 44 lbs
  • Work off-shift, extended hours overtime, and weekends as necessary
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Responsibilities

  • Assist with transition from development to production
  • Manufacture, assemble, and test mechanical components according to written procedures, engineering models, drawings, and specifications
  • Interface with production leads, supervisors, manager and QA to ensure timely customer delivery
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct discrepancies by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control
  • Setup and operate precision calibrated tools including but not limited to lathe, gauges, etc.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency
  • Perform routine lathe, equipment maintenance and housekeeping
  • Other duties as assigned to achieve organizational success
