As a Technician, you will be responsible for mid-level troubleshooting, integration and testing of Mirion systems, in accordance with Manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures. You will assist engineers in design, sustaining issue resolution and problem solving on assigned products, and you may recommend changes to improve safety, reliability, quality and/or cost.

Responsibilities

• Final assembly (hardware, wiring and soldering).
• Preliminary and final test of completed products.
• Quality Assurance function (make ready for shipment).
• Comply with Quality Procedures.
• Maintain schedule accuracies.
• Visually inspect manufactured items for cosmetics, workmanship, soldering, conformance to drawings, and quality standards.
• Verify proper revision levels and markings per print.
• Investigate, research and identify components in error.

Essential Requirements

• Soldering skills.
• Use of all test equipment (meter, oscilloscope, etc.).
• Ability to read schematic and blueprints.
• Understand basic electronic theory.
• Read and identify electronic components.
• Sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Good eye vision for close work.
• Ability to read and follow QA procedures.
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. with assistance.

Additional Requirements

• Good soldering skills.
• Knowledge of all assembly related hand tools.
• Ability to identify components.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Mechanical assembly skills.
• Knowledge of SAP and SharePoint.

Education & Experience Required

• At least one-year post-high school education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar discipline, OR 3 years Electronics related experience.
• 2-5 years of related experience.
