Manufacturing Engineer Job at Penmac Staffing Services, Inc. in Joplin

Penmac Staffing is now hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for a local company. The ideal candidate must be a team player who can multitask and be very detailed in their work habits. This is a full-time position, Monday-Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm with mandatory overtime as needed throughout the week and/or on Friday. The average pay rate is $18 per hour pending experience.

Duties:

1. Interpret customer drawings and specifications to develop the necessary processes and tooling needed.
2. Must have experience with mechanical and electronic assemblies.
3. Working with small parts.
4. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Requirements:

1. Must possess a bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering.
2. Experience with mechanical and electronic assemblies.
3. Must be proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD and Solidworks is preferred).
4. Must have a good work history with at least 1 year of experience.
5. Must be able to work overtime if required.
6. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
