$19.33/hr

Duration:

13 weeks

Expected Shift:

3:00pm – 11:30pm (40 hrs/week) Monday–Friday

This is a 2nd shift position, 3pm to 11:30pm, alternating weekends and holidays. Interviews will be conducted via Teams with potential for auto-offer.

Job Summary

The EVS/Custodian performs duties demonstrating knowledge of healthcare cleaning, disinfecting principles, proper chemical use, equipment handling, and labor-saving products within a healthcare environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment, and other assigned areas.
• Follow all infection prevention practices, including proper cleaning, disinfection, hand hygiene, and PPE procedures.
• Handle waste appropriately, including medical, recycling, and hazardous waste.
• Perform specialty tasks such as conference room setup, stairwell and elevator cleaning, and hanging cubicle curtains.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including alternate EVS responsibilities.

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent custodial experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of recent hospital custodial/EVS experience.
• Customer service skills.
• Punctuality and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
