This position reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and involves performing a variety of routine custodial functions in assigned building(s). The essential duties include:

• Cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning glass, emptying trash, disinfecting, sanitizing, stripping, and waxing floors.
• Replenishing supplies.
• Removing trash, leaves, and debris around the building.
• Using power equipment such as blowers and vacuums.
• Changing light bulbs.
• Assisting with unloading supplies and equipment, delivering them to appropriate areas.
• Maintaining security of keys and locks, locking and unlocking doors as scheduled.
• Setting up tables, chairs, and preparing facilities for meetings or events.
• Participating in snow and ice removal from steps, walkways, and parking lots.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or Equivalency and a valid Driver's License. Candidates should have a general knowledge of cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment, and the ability to understand oral and written directions.
