J-Tech
We are Jones Technical Institute (J-Tech), a non-profit, postsecondary trade school located on the Southside of Jacksonville, Florida. The institution offers academic programs in the areas of Automotive Technology, Commercial Truck Driving, Diesel Technology, HVAC-R Technology and Marine & RV Technology.As a part of the Facilities Management Team, the right candidate will take pride in our facility by keeping it in a "show ready" state at all times. Because we are an institution of higher learning it is important to create an environment that is safe, clean , and organized and this role plays an integral part in those areas.
Responsibilities
- - be able to work 40 hours/week from 9 AM - 6:30 PM M-R, 9 AM - 4 PM F
- - be detail oriented,
- have no restrictions of bending, reaching, lifting, climbing stairs or ladders,
- - must be able to use common handheld and power tools,
- - take pride in their work product,
- - display and evidence dependability, punctuality and professional behavior
- - be motivated, high-spirited and reliable.
- - once provided a routine will be able to work independently-
- follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
Qualifications
- High School Diploma and a great attitude
