Overview

Applications are being accepted for an 8 hour custodian position at Logan Fontenelle Middle School. The custodian is responsible for the general care and upkeep of assigned areas of the buildings, grounds, and equipment. Duties include fundamental cleaning skills, lifting, following directions and ability to physically handle setup and teardown of activity events. To a lesser extent, the custodian assists with maintenance support. The custodian's assignment is subject to changes in areas and duties within this job description. The custodian is responsible for carrying out the instructions of the custodial leader and the building administrator. In addition, candidate may be required to mow, trim hedges, and remove snow, which may require working flexible hours in inclement weather. Candidates must enjoy working around children, and be able to work well with others as a team. Previous experience preferred but not required to apply for this position.

Duty hours are typically Monday through Friday, from 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
